Research Interests

Current Research

My research focuses on the Greek translation (Septuagint) of the book of 1Kings, particularly in 16.29-21.43, and attempts to provide text-critical evaluation of the many variants between the Septuagint and the Hebrew text. The research also involves looking at various readings and recensions among Greek manuscripts and their relationships to the Hebrew text(s) they used. The findings of the research will help in clarifying many large-scale differences between the Hebrew text and the Greek readings.
