Dr Laura Moretti (Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at Cambridge) and Dr Ellis Tinios (The University of Leeds) are teaching a three-day intensive workshop that offers an introduction to the bibliography and materiality of Japanese illustrated woodblock-printed books, 1615-1912.
The workshop will take place at Emmanuel College, between 19 March and 21 March 2015. Hands-on sessions will be held at the Cambridge University Library and at the Fizwilliam Museum. This course is part of the training activities organized by J-PATS (Japanese Palaeography and Textual Scholarship network).
