Funding

Funding

There are many funding opportunities offered for both MPhil and PhD students, which vary from full studentships to small grants to facilitate research travel. Applicants must tick the relevant box or boxes in the Applicant Portal for the studentships/ funding opportunities which they wish to be considered for; most funding applications are therefore entered as part of the core application to Cambridge. Most funding sources, therefore, have the central university deadline of 4th January 2018. There are some other sources, however, such as Gates Scholarships, which have their own deadlines and application processes. Similarly, small grants are made on a rolling basis during the course of an MPhil or PhD. Please email .... for more information; current students will find application forms for these on the faculty intranet.

Further details on the various sources of funding, eligibility, and deadlines are outlined below.

There is also information about funding on the University Graduate Admissions pages.
