Synopsis: After his failed attempt to become a singer in a band in Taipei, Aga returns home in Hengchun of Southern Taiwan with frustration. Tomoko, a Japanese ex-model, is assigned to put together a local warm-up band for an upcoming Japanese superstar’ beach concert to be held in Hengchun. Initially the two are at odds, but their contentious working relationship later inflames and unpacks another inter-cultural romance more than sixty years ago … At the same time, an unlikely local band is formed and ready for the concert …
