Amira Bennison Appearing at the Edinburgh Book Festival

Dr Amira K. Benison, Reader in the History & Culture of the maghreb, will be appearing at the Edinburgh Book Festival on Thursday, 25th August, presenting her book The Almoravid and Almohad Empires, the first book in English that explores the influence and lasting impact of the  two Berber dynasties from the Maghreb that ruled much of southern Spain and north Africa between the 10th and 13th centuries.
