GENRON NPO Tokyo Conference 2018

Dr John Nilsson-Wright, University Senior Lecturer in Modern Japanese Politics and International Relations and Senior Research Fellow, Asia-Pacific Programme at Chatham House recently attended the GENRON NPO Tokyo Conference as a panel member.

GENRON NPO is a Japanese think tank and polling Organization concerned with democracy promotion and governance issues. The annual conference brings together 10 Global think tanks. As part deliberations the panel drafted a statement and recommendations to send to the G7. Canada will host the conference next year and the Canadian DCM in Tokyo as part of the public forum accepted the document.
