'The Dismantling of Japan's Empire in East Asia' published

Dismantling Japan's Empire book coverThe first edited volume to emerge from the first international conference of Barak Kushner's ERC project (The Dissolution of the Japanese Empire and the Struggle for Legitimacy in Postwar East Asia) has been published by Routledge. The book has 16 chapters by major scholars from Japan and the West concerning the details of the inner workings and impact of the fall of the Japanese empire in East Asia. Dr Kushner edited the book with Research Fellow Dr Sherzod Muminov, also a member of the ERC project team.
