Saussan Khalil
Biography: 

Saussan is a Senior Arabic Language Teacher, with a PhD in Arabic sociolinguistics and an MA by Research in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language, University of Leeds, postgraduate Certificate for Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (CTAFL), SOAS, London and BA English Literature, Alexandria University, Egypt. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (BRISMES) and the United Nations Association  UK (UNA UK).

Saussan is also the founder and director of Kalamna CIC, a social venture providing Arabic language classes to children in Cambridge.

Teaching responsibilities: 

Saussan teaches Arabic at Undergraduate level.

Research interests: 

Arabic language and (socio)linguistics, internet linguistics and foreign language teaching.
