In light of the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to run this year’s Cambridge Modern Hebrew Ulpan virtually. While we are deeply disappointed not to be able to hold this year’s Hebrew Ulpan in person at the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, we remain dedicated to providing all our students with the high standard of Hebrew language training you have come to expect from us.

We are working hard to develop an online programme which will fulfil your expectations, including:

  • Limiting virtual class sizes to four students per class
  • One-on-one tuition for each student per week
  • Optional additional online activities to facilitate language acquisition and supplement language learning

You will require:

  • Desktop or laptop computer or tablet, with a webcam, audio speakers and microphone access
  • Good internet connection
  • Zoom (which we will provide secure access to)
  • A quiet space to work in

It would be very helpful if you could indicate whether or not you would be interested in joining us this year. Please respond to by Friday, 29th May 2020. If you have any questions or queries, please email them to the above-mentioned address.
