If you are a graduate student with an academic need for knowledge of Hebrew, Hindi, Urdu or Uzbek we have the classes for you.
Please note that these classes are not normally available to those outside of the University.

This class will resume for the Lent Term, 2012 on Wednesday 25th January and end on Wednesday 14th March 2012.
Foundation course in Modern Hebrew: Wednesdays, 13:00 - 14:00 in Room 214 (2nd floor)
Venue: All classes are held at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Sidgwick Site.
Teaching is provided by a native speaker, Mrs Rachel Williams, and specific questions about the class(es) should be addressed to her: rw212@cam.ac.uk
As well as attending the classes, you are also entitled to use the Faculty Library and access the Faculty's online teaching resources.
Registration: Please complete and submit the online registration form.
A registration fee must be handed in to the receptionist on the main desk in the Faculty foyer. Payment must be made in the first week of class. Payment must be by cheque, made payable to "University of Cambridge", or cash. Card payments cannot be accepted.

Our new Faculty Research Programme on the 'Languages and Cultures of Central Asia and the Caucasus' will be launched with a series of Open Classes on the Uzbek language.
These classes will be held in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm in Room 214 (second floor) from Tuesday 18 October.
