Japanese music from early modern Japan

This free concert introduces a type of popular music from early modern Japan called shinnai bushi. The first of its kind in the UK and featuring renowned performers from Japan, this event transports you back to eighteenth century Japan in the megacity of Edo and its pleasure quarter.
