SUTTON TRUST SUMMER SCHOOL
The Sutton Trust Summer School programme offers students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to experience university-level learning and gain insight into student life at Cambridge.
The Summer School experience
Our Faculty works with the Sutton Trust to support students from underrepresented backgrounds in accessing opportunities to study and learn about university life at Cambridge.
At AMES, participants engage with East Asian and Middle Eastern politics, cultures, film, literature, and languages through lectures and discussions led by our academic staff. The programme also includes introductory language classes and opportunities to explore different approaches to university-level study.
By the end of the residential period, participants become more acquainted with the wider university environment and student community at Cambridge.
