SUBJECT MASTERCLASSES (for undergraduate programmes)
Our Subject Masterclasses offer prospective students the opportunity to delve into Asian and Middle Eastern Studies through engaging university-level sessions led by AMES academics.
These online and in-person events introduce you to the languages, cultures, histories and contemporary issues studied at Cambridge, while offering insight into undergraduate study and student life.
What to expect
You will have the opportunity to:

Previous masterclasses
Our recent sessions have explored topics including:
- the political resilience of Gulf monarchies
- visual culture and graphic narratives in early modern Japan
- languages, histories and cultures across Asia and the Middle East
Who can attend?
Our masterclasses are primarily designed for:
- Year 12 students (or equivalent)
- prospective undergraduate applicants
- students interested in languages, humanities and global studies
