On Tuesday, September 8, Professor Nilsson-Wright, at the invitation of the Japanese Embassy in London, met a political delegation from the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (立憲民主党) for an extended discussion about populism, foreign policy and alliance relations with the United States.
The delegation was headed by former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Okada Katsuya, and also included three other Diet members, Matsuo Akihiro, Honjo Satoshi, and Suzuki Yosuke.
