Hindi - Beginners' Level 1 Courses

If you are a graduate student with an academic need for knowledge of Hindi we have the classes below available.

Please note that these classes are not normally available to those outside of the University.

If you are interested in learning any of our languages just for conversation or holiday purposes, you may wish to contact the University Language Centre.

These  classes will resume on Monday, 8th October, 2018.

Please note: this course begins in the Michaelmas Term, 2018 and continues in Lent and Easter terms, 2019.

Level 1 (Beginners' Class) meets each week as follows:

  • Every Monday 17:00 - 18:00
  • Every Wednesday 16:00 - 17:00

Venue: All classes are held in Room 314 in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, on the Sidgwick Site.

Teaching is provided by a native speaker, Mr Aishwarj Kumar, and specific questions about the class(es) should be addressed to
