
Kublai Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan, was the fifth Great Khan of the Mongol Empire from 1260 - 1294. He founded the Yuan dynasty in China, overcame the Song dynasty and ruled China as part of the Mongol Empire until his death in 1294.
