This project is a study of the historical development of various aspects of the North-Eastern Neo-Aramaic dialect group, with particular attention to features that have arisen due to contact with other languages of the region, such as Kurdish, Armenian, Turkic and Arabic. The project will result in the publication of a book and a variety of articles.
