Summer Modern Hebrew Ulpan

(intensive immersion course)

hosted by

The Faculty of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies

at the

University of Cambridge
Monday, 1st July – Friday, 12th July, 2019

The course is designed for university students, but open to others as well. We aim to offer three levels, beginning, intermediate, and advanced, though actual levels offered will depend on participant demand. The programme will consist of 3–4 daily hours of intensive language tuition supplemented by various afternoon activities, including (but not limited to) visits to the Taylor-Schechter Genizah collection and the Wren Library at Trinity College, lectures on related topics, screenings of Israeli films, and—weather permitting—punting on the River Cam.
